Activities
These are some of the separate groups and activities in the
church family:
- Junior Church
- Meets every Sunday morning, sharing the first part of the
service in the main church and then separating into
classes of different age groups.

which provided an opportunity once a month
for young children and their parents to
share in learning important Christian messages and values through
simple, well thought out activities, stories, prayers and songs has
recently ceased as its members have moved on.

- YMOSES (Youth Meeting on Sunday EveningS)
- a meeting
for the older youth of our church in place of a Sunday
morning class .

- Holiday Bible Club
- A summer Holiday Bible Club for children aged 5yrs to 11yrs.
This is an ecumenical venture supported and underwritten by
Wantage Churches Together.
The aim is to provide children with fun and teach them something
about Christianity and the Bible.

- Wednesday Fellowship
- Meets every Wednesday in the hall at 2pm for a
programme
of talks and other activities.

- The Music Group
- A small group of musicians and singers who provide music for
Sunday services on occasions and for various other events as
requested.
Practice sessions are held as required.

- Coffee Mornings
- Provide refreshment and fellowship once a month and raise money for
Project 21
in the process.

- Lunches
- Provide a nourishing meal and fellowship fortnightly on Fridays for
anyone who cares to drop in, and on Sundays after worship when
booking is required.

- House Groups
- A number of house groups meet at varying times during the week to share
in fellowship, bible study and faith development.

- Monday Leisure Group
- Meets on Mondays between 2pm and 4pm for afternoon tea and sharing in
leisure pusuits.

- Church Walking Group
- An informal group of church, and non church folk, meet about once a
month for a 4-6 mile ramble on local footpaths.
