SUNDAY SERVICES
Come and join our Community!

8 a.m. EARLY MORNING HOLY COMMUNION
This Service usually takes place on the first Sunday morning of the month (excepting August). It lasts about 30 minutes. There are no hymns or sermon, and it briefly, joyfully, but quietly, celebrates the beginning of the Lord’s Day.

10.30 a.m. MORNING WORSHIP
Our morning Service is in the best tradition of the Methodist Church, with hymns, organ music and a wonderful variety of preachers. We offer a crèche for babies and toddlers, and the Junior Church team caters for our young people and teenagers. Once a month we celebrate Holy Communion (usually on the 2nd Sunday in the month). Following the Service (which usually lasts about an hour) we then move to the Church Hall for Tea and Coffee. This provides everyone with the opportunity for informal fellowship. When we go to the hall, there is on almost every Sunday a Traidcraft stall where congregation members can purchase fairly traded goods. Our partnership with the Uniformed Groups (Scouts, Guides, etc.) is acknowledged through our special Parade Services, geared for people of All Ages. These take place three times a year.

Children regularly share in our celebrations of Holy Communion.

6.30 p.m. EVENING WORSHIP
At All Saints our evening Services, with fewer people present, tend to be quieter and more contemplative than the morning ones. They can take a variety of forms, but we usually celebrate Holy Communion on the third Sunday in each month.

REGULAR ACTIVITIES

JUNIOR CHURCH Sunday at 10.30 a.m.
Members of the Junior Church share in the first part of our Morning Worship. They usually leave to spend some time in their own groups. Babies and toddlers are cared for in the crèche.

THE FELLOWSHIP
This is open to people who are free in the afternoon and would like to meet with others. It meets every week at church, on Thursday afternoons (2.30 - 3.45 p.m.). There is a mixed programme including talks on a variety of topics, holiday talks and informal discussions, followed by refreshments. Occasional outings are also arranged.

JUST WOMEN
This informal fellowship for women meets in the Perry Room at 7.30 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month. We have a speaker on the 2nd Wednesday and coffee and chat on the 4th Wednesday.

HOUSE & FELLOWSHIP GROUPS
The Tubb House Group and 'Food for the Journey' meet on alternate Monday evenings. They follow programmes of themed topics or Bible Study and provide opportunities for discussion, fellowship and prayer.

MUSIC FELLOWSHIP
The Music Fellowship is a very moveable feast, meeting in various homes and on various dates (always announced in the Church notices). Our main aim is to find and sing new music for worship.

We are accompanied by piano, guitar, organ and, violin (not all at the same time) and welcome new members, whether singers or instrumentalists, for one visit or many. No musical knowledge is required on the part of vocalists - merely an enthusiasm for singing and a willingness to try new (mostly modern) material. Our meetings are light-hearted and our singing often inaccurate, but we try to fulfil both parts of our name. Everyone is welcome.

MEN'S GROUP
We meet on the last Friday of every month except December, July, and August. Come and join us as we assemble in the All Saints Perry Room at 7.30 p.m., enjoy a cooked meal together, and then listen to our speaker for the night.

MESSY CHURCH
Messy Church is a new venture between All Saints and Peachcroft Christian Centre to reach out to families who would like an alternative to the conventional shape of Sunday worship. This will be held at All Saints. Our first meeting will be on Saturday 6th February 2010. Further meetings are planned for 20th March, 22nd May, 17th July, 25th September and 4th December.

LETTINGS
At All Saints we are pleased that our premises are well used during the week. We have three main areas:

The Main Hall (holds up to 90 people with furniture),

The Perry Room (holds up to 35)

The Upper Room (holds up to 20).

All of these come with access to a kitchen. We also have a pleasant garden, accessed from the Hall, and our Church itself is often used for concerts. Guides and Brownies meet in the Hall, and other users include the local Camera Club, Astronomical Society, Modellers Club, and Aerobics class, to name but a few. Our local Pre-School uses the Hall for 5 mornings and 3 afternoons per week. We have frequent bookings for private Children's Parties. Our rates are very reasonable; further information can be obtained from our Bookings Secretary, Mr. Chris Caddy, on 01235 528287.
