SUNDAY SERVICES
Our Services are at 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Our worship on Sunday morning is usually traditional in flavour and is led by a variety of preachers from the local area. Hymns and more recent songs, Bible lessons, prayers and a sermon are the main ingredients. Activities for children take place at 9.00 a.m. in the church except on the first Sunday in the month. Toddler Praise, for under 5s and their parents or carers is on the third Sunday in the month and on the other weeks there is Sunday Club for children aged 4 years and over. The morning service usually ends at about 11:45 a.m. and is followed by tea, coffee or squash and a chance to socialise. All are welcome.
On the first Sunday of each month, things are different. We hold an all-age Family Service at 10:45 a.m. At these services, we aim to involve everyone, with a music group playing a mixture of well-known hymns and new songs; often there is drama, art and craft, as well as plenty of food for thought for both adults and children. (Tea and coffee afterwards as usual!). Those who are interested have the opportunity, a few weeks in advance, to take part in planning these services.
The evening service is quieter in mood, and those who lead it are able to bring a wide variety of forms of worship - always reflective and thoughtful, again with a traditional blend of musical styles.
HOLY COMMUNION is celebrated at about twenty services throughout the year, morning or evening, as detailed on the circuit plan, which is on display in the porch.

With the other main churches in Grove, we share in the running of the CORNERSTONE COFFEE SHOP in Savile Way shopping area. The Cornerstone includes a Christian bookshop where books, CDs etc. which are not in stock can be ordered with speedy delivery. The coffee shop serves a wide range of food and drink and is a Fairtrade retailer. The shop is open Monday to Friday from 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and Saturday 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. A rota ensures that each Church helps with staffing the Coffee Shop on Saturdays. Do call in and sample the special atmosphere. The Cornerstone can be contacted on 01235772280 or by email at cornerstonegrove@fish.co.uk.
The Church is actively involved in a scheme to EXPAND ITS PREMISES - either by extending the building on the present site or by moving to a new location on the Grove Airfield Development. This is an exciting project and the church is busy raising funds to finance it. To this end there are lots of events being organised and everybody is warmly invited to come along. Watch out for advertisements in the Grove Parish Newsletter and on the church notice board.
